The museum is essentially a replica of a pioneer village. Located on the banks of the Swan River on Highway 10, the museum is definitely worth stopping for.
The Swan River Golf & Country Club has a beautifully laid out course. It has 18 holes that will challenge every aspect of your game.
Swan River is home to the Northwest Roundup (during the last weekend of July) where you may enjoy chuck wagon races, bull riding, horse shows, midway, and an entertainment stage.
Rotary Walking Path Legion Park:
Located in the heart of Swan River, these walking paths are asphalt , curving their way through the park. This beautiful area is excellent for picnics.
Located a short drive away, this park is home to many small lakes providing excellent fishing and water sports. The park itself also has quad paths, hiking, a nature center and a scenic tower at the highest point in Manitoba that overlooks the Swan Valley and the southern Parkland region.
